With one foot in the bucolic past and the other very firmly in the contemporary future this multi-instrument musician and composer sympathetically re-imagines English folk songs from the early to mid-nineteenth century.
He combines the simple and well-loved melodies of English folk songs such as ‘Salisbury Plain’, ‘The Ashgrove’ and ‘John Barleycorn’ with intricate rhythms and contemporary harmonies.
Bradstock has put together a group of incredibly talented musicians who contribute their virtuosity and wondrous interplay to this project including Dorian Ford (piano), Riaan Vosloo (double bass) and Tim Giles (drums), Pete Berryman (guitar), and Julian Ferraretto (violin and mandolin).
